Simon Russell is the CEO of Eagle Aviation Consulting, with 40 years of experience and expertise in aviation business transformation and optimization, including 26 years at Air New Zealand in various senior management roles.

Simon is passionate about aviation, and over the past 15 years, he has provided expert consulting advice and analysis in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions.

Fluent in Brazilian Portuguese, Simon spent one year living in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil over 30 years ago with his wife Carolyn. Together, they have two fantastic children in their twenties and reside in Auckland.

Simon holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Massey University Auckland and is a Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society in New Zealand (MRAeS).
